Living Prayerfully
Margaret Guenther, General Lecturer at the 2006 Finger Lakes Conference, will offer her audience an opportunity to reflect on the challenge of living prayerfully amid the demanding busyness and complexity of life at the beginning of the 21st century. Lecture topics will include:
• How do I hear God's voice?
• How can I pray in a seventy-hour week?
• Where is God in my everyday life?
• How can I live prayerfully in a complicated and often violent world? And for that matter: what do I think I am doing when I pray?

VTS Program
Virginia Theological Seminary has announced a project in support of small congregations, slated for June 21 – 29 2006. Through a generous grant form the Lilly Endowment, the center for Lifetime Theological Education at VTS is offering this course, an all-expenses paid, intensive nine-day residential program for 25 seasoned small-church clergy and their spouses or partners. The Companion Diocese Committee and Diocesan Youth Ministry Office of the Diocese of New Jersey are excited to offer a trip for youth and young adults to El Salvador this summer! The trip is July 31 - August 7, 2006 and is open to rising 11th graders through those 21 years of age.
