Register Now for October Anti-Racism Training Hosted by the Diocese of New Jersey
Registration is now open for the October Anti-Racism Training, hosted by the Diocese of New Jersey, which will focus on understanding racism and addresses dismantling this sin. Information is here https://dioceseofnj.org/antiracism/
“Participants in the Anti-Racism training will learn about the sin of racism and help build the beloved community,” explained Noreen Duncan, Episcopal Church Executive Council member. “The workshop’s approach emphasizes learning from history to understand systemic racism, confronting internalized racial oppression, and discussing actions to organize against the many forms of racism.”
Open to all, the Anti-Racism training will be held at St. Stephen’s Church 180 Route 539, Whiting NJ in the Diocese of New Jersey.
Participants in the interactive training must attend all days: Friday, October 4, 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm; Saturday, October 5, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm; and Saturday, October 12, 8:30 am to 4:30 PM.
