The Episcopal Migration Caucus has designated February 8, 2026 as Migration with Dignity Sunday, while saying that, of course, it can also be observed on another Sunday in Epiphany if preferred. Migration with Dignity Sunday is an opportunity to learn and teach about the Migration with Dignity Principles and to include prayers for Migration with Dignity in worship. The Caucus has developed resources to help congregations plan liturgies, discussions, workshops, teach-ins, etc. for MWD Sunday. Migration with Dignity is a paradigm-changing framework for discussing immigrant rights. The Migration with Dignity principles have deep resonance with scripture and Christian theology. Province V and several of our individual dioceses passed MWD resolutions in 2023-24 and The Episcopal Church adopted Migration with Dignity as a framework to guide all of its migration ministries at the 81st General Convention in 2024.
