Synod Registration

Guidelines:

• All attendees must register, even if they are only attending for part of the Synod.
• The registration deadline is March 23, 2018.
• The registration fee is $135 per attendee. 
• The deputations from the diocese of the Virgin Islands and Haiti will have their Synod registration fees paid by the Province for all deputies who attend and need not submit any payment. You need only submit registration information through the website AND make your hotel reservations through The Desmond. (For example, if you register 5 deputies, but only 4 attend, you will be responsible for paying 1 fee ($135) at Synod.)  You will, however, be responsible for hotel cost.
• All registration information is to be submitted online through the form on this page.
• All registration payments must be made by check or money order payable to Province II  of the Episcopal Church and mailed to

• Dioceses are to have all of their deputations attending the Synod register here.  The diocese, with the exception of the Virgin Islands and Haiti, then must send a check or money order covering all of the deputation's registration fees.  Some of these may be reimbursed at the Synod.  See the notes below.
• All attendees who are not deputies must send their own checks for the $135 registration fee to the above address.
• Attendees who wish to stay overnight at the Desmond Hotel must make their reservations directly with the hotel: $130 per night if, reserved by April 4 (800- 448-3500 – Mention Synod of Province II of Episcopal

Note on Reimbursement:
​For deputations from all  Dioceses other than Haiti and the Virgin Islands, you must pay the $135 registration fee for each deputy attending Synod.  If, by December 31, 2017, your Diocese has paid at least 75% of the 2017 Provincial asking, you will be reimbursed at Synod for each registrant who attends. (For example, you register 8 deputies and 2 alternates.  You pay $1350 ($350 registration fee x 10) via check to Jerry Carroll at the time of registration.  If all 10 attend Synod, you will be reimbursed, at Synod or shortly thereafter, for the entire check amount.  If only 9 attend, the Province will retain $135 (for one registration cost) and the remainder will be reimbursed.  If your Diocese has not paid at least 75% of the 2017 Provincial asking by December 31, 2017, no amount will be reimbursed at Synod.
